Let's start with perhaps the most popular events at the moment, namely Sit & Go's. You can play dozens, even hundreds of such events per day, every day and that of your own home whenever you want!
Improvement and development of a system for permanent gains in these tournaments is like your own alone write a check. Absolutely serious!
Patience and selection of hands are all!
Reason No. 1 why lose Sit & Go tournaments is that you play too many hands . Usually players Sit & Go tournaments are LOOSE ... there are many reasons for this, but we will not stop them. The most important thing to remember:
If you play a lot of hands against loose players , you will tolerate bad Bates (bad beats). Then the answer should be, just do not play so
many hands .... but can only play strong hands (MONSTERS). The style of play, needing to adjust, so at least I call it, is straight "Tight-Aggressive". This means to be extremely precise in choice of starting hands and played extremely aggressive in good hands. The good thing about these tournaments is that in most cases you will find one to confront your MONSTER hand.
Here is useful information, the number of players at the table that you can use while igraeteSit & Go tournaments. Of course there will always be exceptions in any of the phases, but for the most part is accurate and useful.
POKER GLOSSARY ... ... poker rules ... ... .. POKER POSITION ... ... ... Poker Strategy
10-8 player:
Your Strategy: As you monster hand (AA, K-K, QQ) are all in throw or play very aggressively. Your goal in this situation is to get a paying accordingly be doubled. If you're not All-in in this situation, then at least play consistent with his position, but still play aggressively.
The only other hands that you can afford to play are pocket pairs (pair), suitedconnectors (suited connectors) and Ace-X (monochrome) ... and only requires limp-net (pay one big blind) with these hands. Your goal is to have so-called hidden hand that can catch trips, straights or flushes which Busta your opponent.
Do not play any other starting hands. Be disciplined and patient .... fish will kill themselves in between in this part of the tournament.
7-5 Player:
Keep the same strategy from earlier. Play only good hands. While the blinds go up, no longer bother to play suited connectors or low pairs - of course you have a comfortable lead in the chips. Play all your should either be RAISE or FOLD ... never call.
5-4 Player:
This is the phase just before the money. Here now, players dancing quite tight with the idea that will take money. So when you have a good position and feel weak, you can use tight image you have on the table and steal the blinds. (Which would be quite in that part of the tournament.)
Target players who Short stack at the table. When you are in the position of the double blind bet. If you are chip leader, do not let anyone see eftin flop, but not wasting and chips, play smart and play their positions.
3 players:
Now that you've already made the money, be aggressive. Your goal is only the first place .... no second. Be aggressive and steal the blinds from your opponents in any comfortable position. Do not be afraid to risk all their chips. If you play correctly, you will finish third or first, rarely the second.
2-player:
We hope that you are chip leader at the table. If so press the opponent by double down blaydnovete each hand. (Or push all-in if it is too Short). If you are the Short Stack, it shall be all-in with pairs, hands picture (Q, K, J) and Ace-X suited. If the blinds are too high and must act quickly, do it with connectors, or any ace.
Play for money.
In general the whole idea when you play a Sit & Go tournaments must have "play money". If you start to think about Tournaments Sit & Go, as a business ... with all gains and losses ... will understand the importance of the idea.
This will help you be patient. In normal poker game, being 60/40 or 70 * 30 favorite with all their money in the middle would be good. But this is not the case of Sit & Go tournaments .... or at least not early in the game. The reason for this would be it will often be ejected from the tournament and it will be useless to you. The key lies in what can be irresistible favorite with All-in your hands ... and you can do it only if you play MONSTER hands.
Tight-Aggressive - Tight-Aggressive - Tight-Aggressive - Tight-Aggressive - Tight-Aggressive That is why you will finish third or first, but not the second ... .. Let me explain.
When you're in the money already in the top 3, you've reached your ultimate goal. From now on, your goal is only first place. The reason for this is because they pay relatively more than second or third place, and the difference between second and third is relatively small. This means that when the other three players at the table, you must be a man who lead the game. Do not try to sit back and wait for someone to be removed from the opponents (of course this rule makes an exception when you have a complete maniac on the table J). Instead, be aggressive and push your stack in the middle of the table with good hands.
By doing so, it will win the blinds ... and that's what will build your stack very quickly. If you throw in an amazing hand and still lose - OK. But if you consistently follow this approach would qualify more often first ... which will bring you more money and profits in the long run.
Do not bluff!
When playing Sit & Go's with small fees, bluffing is not a positive element of your game, at least until the remaining five or less players at the table (at table with 10 players). The reason lies in the fact that these limits as well as ever, the percentage of foolish and incompetent players is huge, which you will pay nothing to the river with an ace kicker or a pocket . Bluffing is a bad idea because it almost always does not work. This principle should avoid bluff bad players is actually true for all types of games of no limit Holdem poker.
